Career Expo 2022
Creating a career is a process that requires passion, guidance and all the necessary resources that make it possible to turn a dream into reality.
In order to extend these resources to the ones that need them the most ECO CSR International Foundation (ECIF) organised “Career Expo 2022” on the 8th & 9th of October 2022.
On this 2-day Career Expo, organised in partnership with Growth School, the students of the New City Education Trust’s New City International School & Satish Haware Jr. College & New City Saraswati Vidyalaya Navi Mumbai were introduced to various career fields to choose from in form of charts as well as an interactive seminar.
ECO CSR International Foundation (ECIF) conducted a Career Exhibition on day 1. The exhibition was an elaborate display of career charts that introduced the students to various sectors like Food & Agriculture, Media & Entertainment, Tourism, Hospitality, Travel, and more such unconventional fields to choose from. The charts also guided the students on pathways to pursue these fields in detailed steps and what exams or courses might help them excel in the field of their choice. The exhibition received a huge response from students curious to explore opportunities and helped them build a foundation for their careers.
This was followed by a Career Seminar for the students of class 10 on Day 2.
Our team of counsellors guided the students and their parents on various career opportunities present today and how to pursue them to reach the apex of their respective dream fields.
This session included an assessment of the student’s aptitude and discovery of what fields would suit them the best. The counselors conducted a very interactive session and answered various queries of the audience in regard to how to choose a potential career, what factors are to be considered while choosing a profession, the pros, and cons of particular fields, etc. This session was a huge success in terms of response, guidance shared and the biggest token of appreciation – the boost of confidence in the students after a life-changing session.
Tremendous responses from students and their parents helped us make Career Expo 2022 a huge success. From the career charts exhibition opening doors for multiple fields to choose from to the seminar endowing the children with expert advice from counselors, the event had a life-changing impact on the budding professionals of tomorrow.
The event was impactful and gathered a lot of ink in reputed newspapers like MahaMumbai, Saamna, Punya-Nagari and many more.
